
Recreational Swimming Coordinator in Huddinge Hall
Description
Södertörn Swimming Club is one of Sweden's largest swimming clubs with over 2,500 members. Since 1967, we have developed swimmers from beginners to national team level.
We operate in several swimming pools in Huddinge and Haninge, working according to the Swedish Swimming Line with the goal of being a modern, successful, and developmental association.
About the Position
We are seeking a Recreational Swimming Coordinator for our swim school, technique school, and adult programs at Huddinge Hall. The role also includes teaching groups.
You will work together with other recreational coordinators and the head of recreational swimming, and you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring quality and safety in teaching
- Planning lessons and pool schedules
- Recruiting, introducing, and supervising swim instructors
- Managing administrative tasks related to operations
- Following up on budget and operational goals
- Handling member and parent contacts
- Participating in meetings and internal training
- Managing attendance cards and LOK reporting
- Following up on development goals according to the Swimming Line
- Contributing to the development of activities (holiday events, private lessons, etc.)
Experience and Knowledge

- Experience with goal management and follow-up
- Ability to work in a structured way and set goals
- Leadership experience (meritorious)
Qualifications
- Relevant academic education
- Training within Swedish Swimming Sports, at least up to swim instructor level
- CPR certification
- Licensed swim instructor or plan to become one

Other
The position is a one-year fixed-term full-time employment (40 hours/week), of which approx. 20 hours as recreational coordinator and 20 hours as swim instructor/coach/operational staff.
Work mainly takes place in the evenings and on weekends. Work at other swimming pools may occur as needed.
Employment follows collective agreement with Unionen/Idrott.
