Join our team as a woodworking teacher for middle and high school at IES Jönköping! We are looking for a dedicated and certified woodworking teacher to help us deliver high-quality woodworking education at our school. With us, you will work in a dynamic, international environment where we together create a calm study atmosphere, academic success, and a safe setting for everyone. The woodworking classroom is newly renovated with new machines installed in the summer of 2025. This is a position that can lead to a permanent employment, starting on August 3, 2026. About the role We are an international school with 850 students from preschool to grade 9 and 130 employees from all over the world. As a woodworking teacher, you are responsible for planning and conducting meaningful lessons for both middle and high school. You work with the subject team 'practical aesthetic subjects'. Who are we looking for? We are looking for a confident and professional educator with training in the subject of woodworking who enjoys being a leader in the classroom. For this position, we only consider applicants with a Swedish teaching license or applicants who will receive one soon. Qualifications we prioritize: - Swedish teaching license with qualification in woodworking. - Positive and collaborative – you are a team player who spreads energy in the collegium and contributes to our "Tough Love" culture. - Ability to create engagement and confidence among students.
