Engaged Teacher in Wood and Metal Sloyd, Combined with Another Subject

Do you want to inspire students to explore, create, and develop their practical and technical skills in accordance with the curriculum's goals of creativity, problem-solving, and understanding of technology and materials? We are now looking for a qualified teacher in wood and metal sloyd combined with at least one more subject, initially for a substitute position for the 2026/2027 academic year. If you are qualified with a teaching license for compulsory school, a permanent position may become possible based on subject combinations.

About Us

Ebba Petterssons Privatskola is a school run as a non-profit foundation. We are a K-9 school with approximately 650 students and have a long history as one of Gothenburg's oldest primary schools.

About the Position

The position involves teaching wood and metal sloyd in grades 4-9. It may be combined with another subject. You will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching and collaborate closely with colleagues in teams and subject groups.

The position also includes mentoring.

The scope is 80-100%, depending on the subject combination.

We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to teaching that stimulates students' creativity, problem-solving, and practical skills.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed teacher in sloyd (wood and metal) and at least one additional subject
• has experience teaching grades 4-9
• creates structure, security, and study peace in the classroom
• collaborates well with colleagues and contributes to the school's development
• is flexible, committed, and solution-oriented
