Staff for Our Leisure Time Centre/Classroom Resource Sought for a Pleasant F-6 School!

We are seeking staff for our pleasant F-6 school in central Växjö!

We are a small and pleasant F-6 school with a nice location in Söder, central Växjö. Here, you will find a positive and calm working environment where we value close relationships. We have chosen to remain a small school with only one class per year group and a maximum of 20 pupils per class. This allows us, with warmth and commitment, to create the best conditions for every pupil – and for our staff.

Duties:

You are part of the pupils' day both in the classroom, during breaks, and in the leisure time centre. The first part of your day, you work as a pedagogical resource. You then work with one pupil, a small group of pupils, or as a resource for an entire class. You help pupils reach as far as possible in their knowledge development and social development.

The rest of the day, you work with the school's pupils in the school's leisure time centre, where together with your colleagues you lead and inspire the children in guided activities mixed with free play.

If you are a trained primary teacher for leisure time centres and wish to teach, that can also become part of your position.

Who are you?

You are a positive and warm person with natural leadership skills. As a resource, you have good knowledge of school subjects for years 1-6, and you find it inspiring to support children both in their learning and in social situations. In the leisure time activities, you are creative and resourceful; you enjoy leading groups of children in both planned activities and supporting spontaneous play, while seeing and helping each child on an individual level.

You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in the daily work.

Qualifications:

We would like you to be a licensed teacher for leisure time centres or have other pedagogical training. Previous experience working with children and young people is also meritorious.

Employment form: The position is a permanent full-time employment at 100%

Start date: Our hope is that you can start your position with us in August.
