Seize the opportunity to shape and develop elderly care in Härnösand municipality! We are now looking for a dedicated and driven manager for Home Care, specifically our unit at Öbacka. With us, you will have a central role in developing the operation and contributing to ensuring that our elderly have a safe, dignified, and meaningful everyday life.
About the operation:
In Härnösand municipality, there are seven home care groups, including a night patrol, short-term unit, and day activities for people with dementia. The operation is in an exciting development phase where we are reviewing how home care should be organized for the future. We are planning for teamwork with the user in focus, and meeting future needs by leveraging the opportunities of new technology – all to free up more time for what is most important: the human encounter.

Job duties:
As a unit manager with us, you will have a key role in leading and developing the operation to create value for our citizens. You are responsible for driving a well-functioning unit based on set goals and ensuring that quality, finances, and results are in balance.
In this role, you lead your team towards common goals with the user in focus. You work to create participation, engagement, and an attractive workplace where employees thrive and develop. By being an accessible, clear, and present leader, you motivate your employees and contribute to high user satisfaction.
You are responsible for ensuring that political goals and decisions are implemented within the operation, while working strategically with environmental monitoring and development issues in elderly care. The position includes overall responsibility for operations, staff, finances, and work environment.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for their task and has the ability to take initiative and achieve results. In the work as a unit manager with us, it is important to be persistent, which for us means having the ability to keep working until projects are completed or results are achieved. Furthermore, we want you to be confident in making decisions, even under difficult circumstances. As a person, you easily adapt to changed circumstances and see opportunities in change. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Requirements:
-A college or university degree that the employer deems relevant for the assignment.
-Knowledge of and experience in healthcare and social care.
-Driving license B.
-Good knowledge of the Swedish language, spoken and written, and comfort with digital systems and working with them.
Meritorious:
-Experience in staff management.
-Experience in work environment management.
