Career Coach – Prepare and Match

We are a supplier to the Swedish Public Employment Service, with the mission to support unemployed individuals towards jobs or studies, thereby contributing to reduced unemployment in Sweden.

We have been operating for five years and, thanks to our presence on social media, have built a large and active community of job seekers. We interact daily with the target group of job seekers through social media, with millions of video views and thousands of comments each month.

Since the start of our operations, we have built a community of over 100,000 followers on social media, and during the same period, we have completed over 3,000 matches where job seekers—mainly long-term unemployed—have found employment in work or studies.

We are now looking for a dedicated and results-oriented career coach to coach and match job seekers towards jobs or studies.

About the role

As a career coach at HelloLilly, you have overall responsibility for the participant's journey with us—from start to employment. You work with individual coaching, matching with employers and follow-up, while ensuring quality in documentation and reporting.

You will become part of a dedicated team and work closely with your colleagues to achieve the best possible results for our participants.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and create individual action plans
• Hold regular coaching and development meetings
• Support with job search, CV/cover letter, interview training, and education choices
• Match participants to work or education
• Collaborate with employers and internal teams
• Responsible for documentation in our systems
• Report according to agreement with the Swedish Public Employment Service
• Follow up with participants even after they have achieved employment

We are looking for someone who

• Is confident in coaching conversations and can motivate different individuals
• Is structured and administratively accurate
• Is results-oriented and motivated by achieving goals
• Has good communication skills and works solution-focused
• Enjoys taking personal responsibility with ownership over your work while appreciating collaboration and contributing to the team's joint success
• Is proficient with systems

Experience in coaching, matching, recruitment, or work in labor market initiatives is meritorious.

To work as a coach in the Prepare and Match program, you must meet one of the following requirements:

Higher education graduate with at least 180 higher education credits pass and 2 years of work experience in any field.

Alternatively

1 year of post-secondary studies with at least passing grades and 3 years of work experience in one of the following areas (combination of several below is possible):

• Management with personnel responsibility
• Recruitment
• Transition work for job seekers.
• Study and career guidance.
• Handling personnel matters (not solely personnel administration).
• Work with labor and employment market issues.
• Work with social and group psychology.
• Career guidance.

In this recruitment, we conduct competency-based interviews to find our next career coach. This position is an hourly employment as a summer substitute for the towns of Vimmerby and Västervik.
