Senior Accounting Consultant to firm in Stockholm

We at Vindex are now looking for a senior accounting consultant for our client in Stockholm. This is a role for someone with agency experience who thrives in an independent and advisory position, taking full responsibility for all parts of the accounting process for your clients. The assignment suits you who work independently, qualitatively, and efficiently throughout the workflow.

About the role

In the role of senior accounting consultant, you work independently with the entire accounting workflow from start to finish. You are responsible for continuous bookkeeping, reconciliations, monthly and annual closings, and annual reports according to K2. You play an important role in ensuring quality and delivery in accounting and often act as an advisor to clients or the business.

You will work in an environment where structure, accuracy, and independence are central aspects of daily life, while having the support of a competent team.

Location: Stockholm

Key responsibilities

• Continuous bookkeeping and account reconciliations
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Preparation of annual reports according to K2
• Tax returns and tax-related tasks
• Independent responsibility for the entire accounting workflow
• Quality assurance of accounting and reporting
• Advisory services in financial matters related to accounting
• Contribute to development and streamlining of processes

Qualifications

• Previous experience from working at an accounting firm
• Several years of experience working independently with the entire accounting process
• Good knowledge of the K2 framework
• Experience with closings, annual reports, and tax returns
• Good system proficiency in accounting systems
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
