Workshop technician

We at LPE Sverige AB are now looking for a machine operator/maintenance worker for our maintenance assignments in Skövde–Karlsborg and surrounding areas.

About the position

As a machine operator/maintenance worker, you will work on our maintenance contracts with varied tasks in green area maintenance, ground care, and winter operations. You are an important part of the team and work according to given instructions, with a focus on quality, safety, and collaboration.

The work includes, among other things:

• Machine operator assignments based on project needs
• Maintenance and upkeep of green areas and facilities
• Daily inspection, servicing, and simple maintenance of machines, vehicles, and equipment
• Reporting of working hours and logbook according to our routines
• Quality and safety work, including risk analyses when needed
• Participation in winter road maintenance according to contingency plan

You will have daily contact with colleagues, supervisors, and occasionally customers, and are expected to represent LPE in a professional manner.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is responsible, practical, and enjoys working outdoors in varied environments and weather conditions. You have good teamwork skills but can also work independently.

We expect you to have:

• B driver's license (mandatory)
• At least 1 year of experience as a machine operator, maintenance worker, or similar role
• Experience working with park or construction machinery
• Familiarity with daily inspections and simple machine maintenance
• Sufficient Swedish language skills to follow instructions and report work

It is meriting if you also have:

• Experience in winter road maintenance
• Work in contracting or public environments
• Relevant operator permits or certificates (e.g., brush cutter, chainsaw, work on roads)
