Nurse for Ward 42, Pulmonary Medicine, Sunderby Hospital
Description
We have now opened in newly renovated premises and are looking for more colleagues who want to become part of an engaged and competent work group! Are you attracted by the idea of developing your nursing skills in specialist care? Do you want to grow into the role through an induction program and be part of exciting development work in nursing? Are you driven and want to contribute to starting something new?
Welcome to apply to Norrbotten's only pulmonary medicine ward!
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a licensed nurse with an interest in pulmonary medical care and nursing.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities. As a person, you are curious, responsible, and communicative. You value and see the benefit of collaboration with others.
What you will work with
The respiratory system involves many organs, so you will gain broad competence in nursing techniques, diagnostic methods, and treatment methods such as medications and medical-technical equipment. You lead nursing work and collaborate with knowledgeable colleagues from various professional categories. The work group has good cohesion, we help each other, and we highly value joy at work.
We believe in the right to be new – in the profession or at the workplace – and support you on the journey from novice to expert. During your first months, you will undergo a structured induction program with time to study literature, observe relevant activities, and receive instruction from an experienced nurse. Training and personal development are of course also important for our experienced nurses – in that area we have a good collaboration with our outpatient care.
What we offer you
- A 1-3 month long induction program with regular check-ins with a manager
- An individual development plan, evaluated regularly
- Internal training, observation opportunities, and other ways to deepen your knowledge
- A present and engaged manager
- Development and career opportunities where you get to help shape the health and care of the future
- Health-promoting workplaces with access to wellness activities and wellness benefits
- Double compensation for work during inconvenient hours. An investment that Region Norrbotten makes for employees in round-the-clock operations, something that makes us unique among Swedish regions
Information about the position
We offer a permanent full-time position, with the possibility of part-time. Day, evening, and weekend shifts. Start according to agreement.
