We are a small and pleasant F–6 school with a nice location in central Växjö. Here you will find a positive and calm work environment where we value close relationships. We have chosen to remain a small school with only one class per grade and a maximum of 20 students per class. This allows us to create the best conditions for each student and for our staff, with warmth and commitment.

Job Responsibilities

As a school nurse with us, you are responsible for the medical interventions in the school's health promotion work.

Your tasks include the usual responsibilities of a school nurse, such as: health conversations and minor medical interventions. Vaccinations according to the national child vaccination program. Collaboration with guardians and external agencies. Being an active colleague in our Student Health Team and working with preventive and promotive interventions.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. It is meritorious if you have further education as a pediatric nurse, district nurse, or school nurse, but what matters most to us, besides your nursing education, is your personality and your heart for children.

As a person, you are secure, independent, and have a genuine interest in children's health and development. Since we are a small school, we place great importance on your collaborative skills and your approach. You enjoy being part of a team but also have the ability to independently structure and conduct your work in a thorough and responsible manner.

Employment Form:

The position is a permanent contract at 30–40%. We are open to a discussion on how best to distribute these hours over the week (or month) to suit both your routine and the needs of the school/students.
