Karlsson Söderberg Consultant AB is a small but growing consulting firm operating in the fields of community planning, management, and education. We work closely with our clients on assignments where structure, quality, and long-term thinking are crucial.
We are now looking for a technical writer for an ongoing strategic project within public administration.
The role suits someone at the beginning of their career who wants to develop in a consulting environment where technical writing, analysis, and collaboration are central parts of the work.

Job Duties
As our technical writer, you will be part of a development project for a client in Stockholm. The project is led by us and involves the development of a modern IT tool for the client's community planning activities as well as for external parties.
Your tasks within the project will be:
- Develop, process, and quality assure IT technical documentation
- Support the project manager with, for example, minute-taking at working meetings in large groups
- Structure and adapt texts for different target groups
- Revise and further develop existing text material
- Collaborate with project management and technical specialists
We are looking for someone who
- has education from a university/technical college, technical vocational college, or other post-secondary education in, for example, community planning
- has at least 1–2 years of experience in technical writing or similar work
- is meticulous, structured, and perceptive
- has good verbal and written communication skills in Swedish
- can work independently with defined tasks
- is curious and wants to develop in the consultant role
Meritorious is professional experience from community planning, technical operations, or the public sector. We assume you have good knowledge of various text processing tools in the Office365 environment.
About the Role
The current assignment covers approximately 200 hours over the project's lifespan of about 18 months. Most of the work will be conducted in a hybrid form from our office in Gothenburg or remotely via distance connection to the client. On some occasions, work may be carried out at the client's premises. This entails travel within the country and a few overnight stays elsewhere.
The role opens up opportunities to be combined with additional tasks within the consulting company's operations and assignments.
About the Employment
The employment type is hourly employment with an approximate scope of up to 50%, depending on the various phases of the project and other assignments.
Your base is our office at Östra Hamngatan 17 in Gothenburg. We allow remote work if the home workplace is approved from an ergonomic perspective.
The position includes work tools such as a mobile phone and laptop.
Working hours are 08:00 – 16:30
Flexible working hours do not apply.
