Forestry Worker with a Sense of Precision and Safety Wanted!

About the position

We are now looking for an engaged forestry worker for Dalarna, Hälsingland and Gästrikland. The work involves varied assignments in manual felling and stump cutting of storm-felled forest, with a focus on safe work, quality and precision. We often work in demanding terrain and with objects that require high technical competence.

Your main tasks:

• Manual cutting at base, felling and processing of trees.
• [Possibly: Advanced tree felling near buildings/power lines].
• [Possibly: Clearing and forest care].
• Daily maintenance and basic service of machines and equipment.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is physically robust, self-motivated and has a strong safety mindset. We place great emphasis on your practical experience and your willingness to perform safe work.

Requirements for the position:

• Chainsaw license level A-C.
• Alternatively, completed A-B and documented practical experience of at least 80 hours in forestry work.
• Good physical condition and ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
• Driver's license B.

Training opportunity: To work with us, a chainsaw license level C (Advanced felling) is required. For the right candidate who has A-B and meets the practical requirement of 80 hours, and this should be verified e.g. through certificates from previous employers or a practice log, we offer the opportunity to undergo training to C-level in connection with employment.

Meritorious:

• Already hold a chainsaw license level C.
• Green card in forestry. (Web-based training is offered by us.)
• Experience with brush saw work (RA/RB).
• Training in ESA or work near roads.
• L-ABC and defibrillator
• Fire training.
