Production Technician

Tranås Industrikablage is part of HP Tronic Group, which offers development, manufacturing and logistics of cabling, control and test systems for industrial applications.

HP Tronic Group currently operates in Ljungby, Lund and Tranås Sweden, Suzhou China, Ruse Bulgaria and in Pune, India. The business has a turnover of approximately 700 MSEK and employs around 310 people.

We are now looking for a Production Technician

within complex electromechanical products and cabling

About the job

As a Production Technician, you are the link between sales and production. We believe that you are involved early in the chain, from quotation to won deal. You project manage and follow up your quotes and projects into production to ensure that the right manufacturing methods are applied with a focus on continuous improvement and waste elimination.

Your main tasks include:

- Quotation preparation (new and existing projects)

- Customer contact within current projects

- Selection of production methods for new and existing products

- Article preparation and creation of production documentation and control documents

- Initiate investments and propose acquisition of production equipment

- Identify alternatives for components or alternative production solutions when needed

- Provide technical support to assembly staff and train employees in new methods and work procedures

Qualifications

You have a technical education at upper secondary school/university level, and experience working with the LEAN concept is an advantage. As a person, you are communicative, pedagogic, flexible and driven, as the work involves extensive collaboration with several functions within the company.

Good knowledge of English and the Office package
