Automation Engineer

In the role of Automation Engineer, you will work with support and development of the production process with a focus on automation, implementing new automation solutions, optimizing production flows, as well as reviewing and improving machinery and equipment.

Specifically, the tasks include

· Working with continuous improvements of processes, implementing new automation solutions to optimize processes and improve ergonomics for operators.

· Streamlining and quality assurance of processes.

· Implementing product changes and establishing work instructions.

· Specifying needs for tools and fixtures, and starting up new equipment.

· Maintaining existing automated systems and introducing necessary improvements and changes.

· Training staff on how the production process works.

· Programming robots and PLCs.

We would like you to have

• Relevant academic education in production engineering or other post-secondary education combined with solid experience.

• At least three years of relevant work experience from manufacturing industry.

• Good communication skills in speech and writing in Swedish and English.

• Good insight into and experience of production and production processes.

• Knowledge of composite technology and experience in automation are meritorious.

• You have knowledge and experience of working with Lean Production.
