Dog Walker 50% in Bromma

We are now looking for dog walkers for two of our dog groups in Bromma, one starting immediately and the other at the beginning of August. The position is Monday-Friday approximately 10.00-14.00.

The position is part-time (50%) on weekdays excluding holidays between approximately 10.00-14.00, located in Bromma. Some groups can be expanded to 5 hours if there is demand in the area.

Our dog groups are a mixed bag with about 6-10 dogs out at a time, depending on time and day. The groups are mixed in terms of size as well as females and males.

The work is entirely on foot and outdoors throughout the shift - no driver's license needed.

As a dog walker with us, we are looking for someone who is calm and self-assured, who has a good hand with dogs and a good sense of location.

It is important that you are self-sufficient and comfortable taking responsibility. The position involves mostly (if not always) walking alone with a group of dogs and handling everything that comes with it - in terms of picking up/dropping off dogs, any challenges during the walk, and continuous contact with dog owners.

The work is based in various locations within Bromma, and we are outside all day. Bad weather should not stop you!

Love, interest, and experience with dogs are required; previous professional experience is meritorious.

This is a position that suits you perfectly if you are studying remotely or have another part-time occupation you wish to combine.

For a permanent position, we are looking for someone who plans to stay at least 6 months, but preferably longer - some of our dog walkers have been with us since 2018!

The salary is per hour and is 120 SEK per hour. For handling your own group, a responsibility supplement is added on top of the hourly wage.

For those driven to do more, there is also the opportunity for more responsibility in customer and personnel management - which involves some extra time and other responsibility supplements. For this, previous experience in customer service (or equivalent) and education in dogs (or equivalent) are desired.

For those trained as a dog instructor or dog psychologist, there is also the opportunity to hold training/courses through the company.

We are also always looking for substitutes! As a substitute, you can learn groups to step in when regular staff are sick or on leave, and help with training new dogs.
