I am looking for an immediate substitute who can start an introduction with me in May. For the right person, there is also the possibility of continued work, both on a fixed schedule (part-time) and as an hourly employee.

I am a 37-year-old man currently living in Täby, but I plan to move to Norrtälje this summer.

I am looking for assistants around my age who want to work with me as my personal assistant.

Some of my interests include various museums, going to the movies, concerts, music, genealogy, and history. I am very interested in hockey and AIK is the team closest to my heart. It would be fun if you also like hockey and maybe even AIK, but if you prefer another team, that's fine. I use a wheelchair and need help with eating, drinking, dressing and undressing, showering, and bathroom needs — that is, more or less everything. I have assistance so that I can live and above all enjoy getting out and doing things outside the home. I understand everything but cannot speak verbally. When I communicate, I use body language and a letter board to express what I want. I am currently training to get a new communication aid that is eye-controlled.

I have a severe CP injury from birth, am spastic in my muscles, and have epilepsy. I can have mild cramps occasionally that drain my strength and energy, but it always passes on its own. It can be a bit frustrating not always being understood, so it is good if you have enough patience for both of us. I am a guy with a lot of humor, so I hope you have an easy laugh and are a positive person. I hope you are good at coming up with your own initiatives and suggestions when it comes to fun things to do during the day. You should be flexible, that is, willing to come up with ideas and do things, but also have a great understanding that it can vary from day to day depending on my daily form and what I want. I have a poodle, so it is good if you are not allergic to dogs. Sometimes I also have a small West Highland white terrier that I look after for my sister. I like to swim, so it would be suitable if you also enjoy it and are not allergic to chlorine. I like playing games because then I can throw dice etc. on my own, which feels great. During the summers, I am sometimes at my summer cottage in Riala, and because of poor communications to and from there, it is good if you have a driver’s license and access to a car, but it is not a requirement to apply. When are you needed?With me, you work 24-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 AM including standby time.

I do not require previous experience in similar work; personal suitability is valued most highly, and I welcome male applicants.
