We are looking for a temporary curator for the Women's Shelter Enköping!

About us

We are a non-profit women's shelter that offers support to women who have been subjected to intimate partner violence. Our activities consist of support conversations and counseling, as well as outreach work in the form of information efforts, lectures, and opinion formation.

We are a small work group, which means that the work is varied and requires both independence and teamwork. With us, we help each other in daily tasks and take joint responsibility for the operations.

We also have a newly started part of our operations in the form of a youth shelter. In this position, the focus is on the women's shelter's work, but some collaboration may occur.

Our work is based on a feminist approach where the needs and rights of the support seeker are central.

About the position

The tasks include, among other things:

• support conversations
• collaboration with other actors such as social services, healthcare, and police
• planning and holding lectures and information sessions
• work with social media
• participation in operational development

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• has relevant post-secondary education, for example, social work, behavioral science, social pedagogy, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
• has experience in support conversations, preferably within intimate partner violence
• has a good ability to understand others' situations and meet each individual where they are
• is confident in working independently but also in a team
• has a responsive and professional approach
