Social Secretary - Special Investigation Assignment for Children and Young People

We are now seeking an experienced social secretary for a qualified consultant assignment within Children and Young People in the Gävleborg region.

The assignment involves investigation and follow-up of cases concerning three children and their family. The work is carried out within the framework of public administration according to SoL/LVU and involves close collaboration with both the family's private and professional networks.

About the assignment

The tasks include, among other things:

• Investigating a child's and family's needs according to BBIC in Treserva
• Assessing and deciding on appropriate interventions
• Following up on already approved interventions for two children
• Assessing and acting on any needs for additional emergency protection and support
• Documenting, analyzing, and making professional assessments
• Collaborating with internal and external actors

An investigation is already underway and interventions have been initiated.

Start: The assignment starts immediately and is initially planned to last for four months, with the possibility of extension. The employment rate is flexible as the assignment concerns one family.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has: A degree in Social Work (210 credits) or equivalent older degree

• At least 3 years of documented experience of public administration according to SoL/LVU within the last 5 years
• Experience of independent work in LVU processes
• Experience of investigative work according to BBIC and Signs of Safety
• Experience of working in Treserva
• Competence and experience in violence cases
• Good documentation skills
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• A driver's license for manual transmission
