Support Person Sought for 17-Year-Old Girl

We are looking for a secure and committed support person for a 17-year-old girl who came to Sweden from Ukraine a few years ago. The girl is placed in foster care and needs a stable adult contact who can offer support, motivation, and guidance in daily life.

The assignment focuses primarily on supporting her with school attendance, motivation, and social development, as she has a high rate of school absence. It is important that you are relationship-building, patient, and able to motivate young people in a calm and respectful manner.

The girl speaks limited Swedish, making it meritorious if you speak Russian or Ukrainian.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is secure, stable, and responsible

• Has a genuine commitment to young people

• Can work motivationally and relationship-building

• Has patience and good cooperation skills

• Preferably has experience with young people or social issues

• Meritorious with knowledge of Russian or Ukrainian

About the assignment:

• Scope approximately 5 hours per week

• Hourly wage plus holiday compensation

• Flexibility important as meetings mainly occur after school and possibly on weekends
