Support person sought for 17-year-old girl

We are seeking a stable and committed support person for a 17-year-old girl who came to Sweden from Ukraine a few years ago. The girl is placed in foster care and needs a stable adult contact who can offer support, motivation, and guidance in everyday life.

The assignment primarily focuses on supporting her with schooling, motivation, and social development, as she has a high level of school absenteeism. It is important that you are relationship-building, patient, and able to motivate young people in a calm and respectful manner.

The girl speaks limited Swedish, so it is an advantage if you speak Russian or Ukrainian.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is secure, stable, and responsible

• Has a genuine commitment to young people

• Can work in a motivational and relationship-building way

• Has patience and good collaboration skills

• Preferably has experience with young people or social issues

• Proficiency in Russian or Ukrainian is a plus

About the assignment:

• Approximately 5 hours per week

• Hourly wage plus holiday pay

• Flexibility is important as meetings mainly take place after school and possibly on some weekends
