We are looking for you!

Now one of our preschool teacher colleagues will become a mother this summer, and we are looking for someone who wants to come and work with us on a preschool teacher temporary contract for at least one year from August.

We are looking for a trained preschool teacher with a preschool teaching license and solid experience in the profession.

We value your motivation to drive pedagogical processes in practice. You lead the team and the children's group based on the curriculum and governing documents. Extra merit is experience with a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach. You enjoy leading and motivating others and sharing your experiences and knowledge.

Computer skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing are required.

About us!

We are a small independent preschool in Örnsberg. We work with a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach in project groups and invest heavily in children's creative and linguistic development. Our approach is that every child should have the conditions and opportunities to develop into secure and learning individuals. We focus a lot on outdoor time and movement, with an emphasis on excursions in our local area but also longer trips to various parks, museums, natural areas, and attractions. We consciously work to convey sustainable thinking to the children, where the environment, nature, and cycles form a whole, and children are involved in every step.

You who join us as a preschool teacher must be well-versed in the curriculum and the governing documents that the preschool must adhere to. When planning pedagogical work, you naturally start from the curriculum's goals and intentions and also habitually consider children's interests, needs, and questions. Your role as a preschool teacher is to lead and drive the pedagogical development work at the preschool in collaboration with colleagues and the principal. As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for ensuring that the education and teaching we offer children meet the goals and requirements of the curriculum. We focus on children's interests, and their participation is important in everything we do together. We create creative environments where children can find their ways to express themselves. Our task is to harness children's curiosity and be encouraging and positive role models. Contact and collaboration with colleagues and guardians is an important part of the work. Together, we work to create confident and curious children!
