Substitution – Experienced leisure-time pedagogue at Asken's leisure-time center

Båstad Montessori school Asken is located in the scenic Bjäre region, in Grevie church village. The school is run by a parent cooperative where the board consists of parents and staff. The association also runs two preschools in the municipality, and together about 225 children are in our care and about 53 adults.

Montessori school Asken has just over 150 students aged 6-12. We work in age-integrated classes and focus on a holistic approach so that every student is seen and guided towards personal responsibility and a good life development. We work in teams where teachers and leisure-time staff collaborate.

We work closely with the students in a coaching manner and are aware that we adults are role models. We work with sustainable development and are a certified Green Flag school. Our opening hours are from 6:15 am to 5:30 pm. We are looking for a substitute for our leisure-time center and school. As a person, you should be positive about finding solutions to situations that arise. You work together with the students, create inspiration for learning, and guide with a conscious pedagogical mission. By guiding, creating activities, and showing high expectations, you help create a good working environment for both children and adults.

We are looking for a leisure-time pedagogue who wants to take responsibility for the leisure-time center's curriculum together with colleagues. Personal suitability will be highly valued.

As a person, you are curious, stable, and engaged, and want to develop in your work. You have the ability to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. You have a positive attitude, convey joy, and see every child's strengths and opportunities. For you, it is important to let students participate and have influence over their learning.

You have high expectations and can meet students with both support and challenges based on their needs. You collaborate well with colleagues and gladly share your knowledge and want to learn together with others, while also being able to drive your own work forward.

You also participate in planning, implementation, and follow-up of the leisure-time center's activities based on the governing documents and the school's values.

• You work closely with primary school teachers and other pedagogical staff in a team to promote students' development and learning.
• You contribute to developing the operation with ideas for planning leisure activities that develop students' creativity and creation.
• You should be passionate about working for students' social and physical development at the leisure-time center, be a safe adult and role model, and participate in our value-driven activities. The leisure-time center works extensively with respect for each other in play, creative work, and daring to try participating in various activities.
