If you are educated and a licensed teacher and/or have experience teaching primarily science but also mathematics for grades 4-6, you are the one we are looking for. We place particular emphasis on you having science in your qualifications.

You are a role model both as a knowledge mediator in your subjects and can motivate our students with good general education and upbringing.

About the workplace

Vasalundsskolan is an independent F-9 primary school with about 400 students. Starting next autumn, the student base will decrease as we are putting the lower secondary level on hold. We will revert to being an F-6 school. The school is neighbor to Lundsback's allotment area in the beautiful and green Vasatorp in Helsingborg, easily accessible either by car or by public transport. Collegial learning is something close to our hearts and something we constantly work on. We enjoy being together and work closely in teams, meaning you never stand alone.

The school is a multicultural school where Swedish culture lives side by side with Arabic culture. Proximity to students, clear leadership, and sensitivity are important qualities that we prioritize in our teachers. For us, education and cultivation share the same bloodstream.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher for primary school grades 4-6 and are familiar with teaching in these grades. Or you may have the old 4-9 education.

We would like you to contribute with commitment, creativity, and a drive to develop the operation. You meet each student with respect and sensitivity. You need to have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

As a teacher with us, you work to create a safe, fun, and educational school. You possess good leadership qualities to create good conditions for a positive learning environment together with your students. You should be able to be challenged by students but also rejoice in their successes.

As a person, you are solution-focused, unpretentious, and flexible, and have good computer skills. In your approach, you are results- and development-oriented. Furthermore, you create sustainable relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues thanks to good collaboration skills.
