Are you interested in nature and outdoor life?

In the Outdoor Preschools' operations, we use outdoor pedagogy as a method in all learning. This means we have our circle time, dining area, play, creative activities, etc., outdoors in the yard and in nature. We work according to our own concept, "With Veda and Barke in Nature," where children belong to groups called Discoverers, Explorers, and Adventurers. Everything we do is based on the guiding principles: Safe, Fun, and Educational.

Are you interested in working as a substitute for us?

You have the opportunity to decide which days you want to work. Many of our substitutes work every day. We prefer that you are able to work at least 2 shifts per week.

How does it work?

Is it necessary to work at all preschools, or can I choose an area?

You have the option to choose shifts in the areas that work for you.

How far in advance will I receive information about work shifts?

You will receive requests for the same day and several days or weeks in advance.

Will I get an introduction to the operations and how things work before my first shift?

Everyone who comes to an interview at the office shows their criminal record extract and any other certifications.

We also explain how the operations are structured.

Right now I am available to work practically all the time, but if a doctor's appointment or similar comes up, can I decline a shift?

You choose which days you want to work.

If this is of interest to you, it is important that you have a valid extract from the criminal record register. You can find it on the police's website.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who is engaged, positive, and can quickly get into their work tasks. You should be able to provide and create safety, knowledge, and joy at the preschools and take initiative. We appreciate if you have an interest in nature and outdoor life.

Outdoor Preschools is a well-established company that has been operating in preschool education since 1993. We run 11 preschools in five Stockholm municipalities. The company is characterized by commitment, stability, safety, job satisfaction, and close management proximity. We want you to share our passion for outdoor pedagogy. Together with other staff, you will participate in the educational activities.

We have preschools in Hässelby, Sollentuna, Danderyd, Upplands Väsby and Täby. We appreciate if you can work at all locations. If you live in a neighboring municipality such as Österåker, Sigtuna, you are also welcome to apply.

Education

We appreciate if you have a high school education in the social care program, childcare and youth, or equivalent, but it is not a requirement.
