Interim Head of FP&A

We are now looking for a senior and experienced Head of FP&A for an interim assignment of approximately 12 months. This is a key role in an ongoing integration journey as the company transitions into a new ownership structure, which places high demands on both financial acumen and change leadership. For the right person, this is a very exciting and developmental assignment in an environment characterized by transformation, complexity, and high pace.

The role combines strategic responsibility with operational execution and suits someone who thrives in the interface between analysis, business, and change. You will play a central role in developing and modernizing the finance function and ensuring that the organization has the right structures, processes, and decision support in place.

About the role

As Head of FP&A, you are responsible for leading and developing financial planning, performance management, and strategic development work for a larger organization. One of the most important initial tasks is to drive the transformation of the finance function, including developing new reporting and analysis structures and implementing system support.

The role involves close collaboration with other departments within finance as well as the management group. You are expected to be a driving force in ensuring that financial information is actively used as decision support in the business.

Location: Stockholm

Main responsibilities

• Lead budget, forecast, and reporting processes
• Ensure high-quality decision support and follow-up on business performance
• Responsible for capital allocation and prioritization of strategic initiatives
• Drive change, development, and efficiency initiatives within the finance function
• Act as a bridge between strategy, finance, and operational business
• Lead the team and ensure progress in the work within the finance function
• Actively contribute to ongoing transformation and system implementations

Qualifications

• Experience working as a management consultant
• Solid experience in managerial roles within FP&A/Business Control
• Experience in transformation work in larger or complex organizations
• Familiarity with ERP implementations and development of financial systems and processes
• Very good understanding of financial management, reporting, and analysis
• Strong analytical ability and good business acumen
