Operations Manager
Description
Operations Manager for Hela Människan Boden
Do you want to lead an operation where coffee, prayer, laughter, sorrow, structure, and hope all have a place at the same table? Where leadership is as much about budgets as it is about human interaction, and where every person is met at eye level?
Hela Människan in Boden is now looking for an Operations Manager who wants to help carry, lead, and develop our work among people in social vulnerability.
About us – Hela Människan Boden
We are a non-profit, Christian, and ecumenical organization that believes in the whole person—body, soul, and spirit. Our values are founded on love, patience, and tolerance. Our daily work is guided by the conviction that all people have an inviolable worth.
Among our activities are:
- A daytime meeting place with breakfast, lunch, and fellowship
- A grocery store and second-hand shop
- Conversations, support, and social community
- Devotions and opportunities for spiritual deepening
- Collaboration with churches, civil society, and public actors
We don't try to "fix people"—we meet them. With respect. At eye level. Often over a cup of coffee.
About the position
As Operations Manager, you are both a leader and a team player. You stay close to the operation and the people, while maintaining an overview, direction, and structure.
The position includes responsibility for:
- Leading and planning daily operations
- Supervising staff and coordinating volunteers
- Having financial responsibility (budget, follow-up, and ongoing finances)
- Maintaining contact with donors, partners, and authorities
- Developing the operation based on local needs and the foundation of Hela Människan
- Participating in conversations, group activities, and devotions together with other staff
- Being the public face of the operation
- Participating in the board's working committee
In short: you hold both heart and structure in your hands without losing either.

- Is self-assured, structured where needed, and flexible where life demands it
- Has leadership experience, preferably in non-profit or social work
- Holds a valid driver's license (B category)
A suitable educational background could be a deacon, social worker, or equivalent.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Who you are matters at least as much as what is on your CV.
