Stockholm International Academy Häggvik is seeking a Deputy Principal

Stockholm International Academy in Häggvik is a K-9 school that opened in 2016 and is located in a quiet, nature-friendly area of Sollentuna with good communications. Approximately 370 students attend from preschool class to grade 9. Our daily life is characterized by close relationships between students and staff, where each individual is seen and supported to develop in a clear, safe, and supportive learning environment that promotes both knowledge and personal growth.

Through clear structures, language development methods, and close cooperation between home and school, we create the best conditions for students' knowledge development and personal growth.

About the position

You are part of the school's management team, consisting of the Principal and another Deputy Principal. You have a key role in the school's development and quality work. Together with school management and our dedicated employees, you drive and develop the pedagogical operation with a focus on equitable teaching, high quality, and a working method based on scientific ground and proven experience. Responsibilities will be distributed within the management team based on shared experience, competence, and the needs of the operation.

You are visible and active in the school's daily life and have many contact surfaces where you meet students, guardians, and staff. Through close and cross-professional collaboration, you contribute to finding long-term solutions that strengthen both student learning and the school's development over time.

We are looking for you who

• Hold a teaching license for compulsory school
• Have completed the Principal training program
• Have experience in school development and/or school leadership
• Have good knowledge and experience of the school's governing documents
• Have a good ability to lead, guide, and collaborate with different professions
• Are clear, receptive, and solution-focused
• Have a very good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish
