Junior Payroll Specialist for a Broad and Varied Role

We at Vindex are now looking for a Junior Payroll Specialist for a consultancy assignment with one of our clients in Stockholm.

About the role

As a Payroll Specialist, you contribute to ensuring an accurate and efficient payroll process while supporting the organization in various HR-related matters.

In between payroll periods, you work broadly with payroll and HR administration including recruitment processes and other administration, and serve as support for both employees and managers. The role suits someone who thrives in a varied day-to-day where you combine HR and payroll, administration, service, and collaboration.

Location: Stockholm area, at the office.

Main responsibilities

• Handle time reports, travel expense reports, reimbursements, and benefits
• Work with ongoing payroll runs and ongoing payroll and HR administration including documentation
• Handle occupational pensions, employment certificates, insurances, and other pension-related issues
• Provide support for employees and managers in questions related to payroll, HR, and collective bargaining agreements
• Work with statistics and reporting
• Participate in onboarding and offboarding and ensure a smooth start and end for employees, and be involved in recruitment processes
• Handle contacts with authorities in connection with payroll and HR administration
• Support other office administration and ad hoc tasks

Qualifications

• Relevant post-secondary education in payroll
• One or a few years of experience in payroll work as a main task
• Good system experience and an interest in systems and digital working methods
• You are proficient in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing

Meritorious:

• Experience in payroll processing for both salaried employees and hourly workers, preferably with experience of different collective bargaining agreements
• Previous experience in HR work
