Description

The Crime Victim Compensation and Support Authority is Sweden's expert authority on victim issues. The Authority works to improve information and support for those who have been victims of crime by deciding on criminal injury compensation for victims, recovering paid compensation from offenders, funding research and victim-focused projects through the Crime Victim Fund, and acting as a knowledge center for victim issues. The Authority is located in central Umeå.

The Crime Victim Compensation and Support Authority processes applications for criminal injury compensation. When compensation has been paid out, the Authority recovers as much of the paid funds as possible. The recovery claims are handled by the Recovery Unit.

We are now seeking one or more case preparation assistants for the Recovery Unit. Your task will be to work closely with other staff and be responsible for the clerical functions of the unit. This includes, among other things, conducting investigations into individuals' personal circumstances, registering cases, filing documents, handling payments, and performing other administrative tasks.

You should have experience in administrative work. Experience working in a government agency and case management is meritorious. You have a high school diploma and are fluent in Swedish. Knowledge of other languages is beneficial but not a requirement.

We are looking for someone who is positive, committed, and wants to work in an environment where tasks may vary but perhaps not change significantly. You have a high work capacity and are stress-resistant. You are good at collaborating while also being able to work independently and take responsibility for the organization's needs.

The recruitment is for a permanent position with a probationary period, full-time. Start date according to agreement. We apply individual salary setting. We strive for diversity and equal gender distribution.

For union information, please contact Ulrika Forsgren, SACO.

Attach the usual application documents including relevant certificates and references, and state your salary expectations. Mark your application with ref. no. P 4/26.

We have chosen our recruitment channels carefully and therefore kindly decline contact from advertising and recruitment companies.
