Erikshjälpen Future Workshop in Kristianstad is now seeking activity leaders to strengthen our operations. The scope is 8-20 hours per week per person, depending on which activities you participate in.
Responsibilities
Your tasks as an activity leader involve planning and leading activities based on our operational plan, together with the operations coordinator.
An important part of the work is building trusting relationships with the target group. Some activities take place in collaboration with other organizations, so we see that you have good collaboration skills.
The work is mainly scheduled for afternoons and evenings, but weekend work may also occur. Activities are primarily carried out in Charlottesborg, but excursions with participants may also be relevant.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a relationship builder and has a heart for working with children and youth. You are accustomed to meeting people in different life situations and contexts, and feel comfortable working in a multicultural setting. You have the ability to create trust, participation, and engagement.
As a person, you are self-sufficient, responsible, and good at collaborating.
You have:
- Upper secondary education, preferably with a focus on children and leisure, behavioral science, sports and health, or aesthetic subjects. (If you are in your third year of upper secondary school with one of the described orientations, you are also welcome to apply.)
- Experience working with children and youth.
- Alignment with our values based on three fundamental principles: Eriks's spirit, a Christian view of humanity, and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Meritorious if you have:
- Multilingualism
- Experience of engagement in civil society, preferably a sports association
- Experience in children's rights issues and rights-based work
As part of the recruitment process, you will need to present a criminal record extract before the final candidate can be offered the position.
