Traveling Assembler - install cranes, conveyors and Autostore worldwide

J Gruppen is expanding in Europe and the Middle East and is now looking for several traveling assemblers to contribute to large international projects. With us, no week is the same: one week you install a crane system in Norway, the next month you are on an Autostore installation in Denmark and then a conveyor system in the USA.

You become part of a tight team of colleagues who together handle some of the industry's largest and most technical assignments.

About J Gruppen

We are an independent entrepreneur in mechanical and electrical installations with head office in Sweden and offices in the USA and Dubai. We have assignments mainly in Sweden, the USA, Norway, Denmark and Finland — and ongoing projects in other international markets as well. Our customers are the world's largest system integrators and we are specialists in assembly and maintenance of crane systems, conveyor systems and Autostore.

What you will do with us

• Autostore — assemble the robot warehouses that the world's largest e-commerce companies base their operations on

• Conveyor — build conveyor systems and roller tracks in automated warehouses and production facilities

• Crane — install crane and lifting systems in heavy industrial and production environments

• Service, maintain and troubleshoot facilities at customer sites

• Read and follow assembly and manufacturing drawings

• Work in a tight team — both with Swedish and international colleagues

We are looking for you who

• Have a technical background (industry, mechanics, automation, construction or similar)

• Enjoy working with your hands and are used to tools

• Are comfortable working at heights

• Speak English at least at B1 level (Swedish is a plus)

• Have a B driver's license — C and CE are meritorious

• Want to travel and experience new environments, both nationally and internationally

Meritorious

• Experience with industrial assembly, crane, conveyor or Autostore installation

• Forklift license, lift, hot work or welding certificate

• Tax registration in Sweden, Norway or Finland
