Production Supervisor - Heavy Industry

A good supervisor makes a difference immediately.

It’s the person who sees what needs to be done, who gets the team to pull in the same direction, and who creates order when everyday life is full of reprioritizations, deliveries, questions, and problems that need to be solved here and now.

We are now looking for such a person for Larsson & Kjellberg.

We are a workshop company with a long history, broad expertise, and a clear direction forward. We invest in new technology, strengthen our production, and take on increasingly advanced assignments in heavy steel structures, industrial services, and specialist competence in welding.

This means we need more than just someone who “keeps an eye on things.”

We need a supervisor who is close to production, close to people, and close to decisions.

The role

As a supervisor with us, you are where things happen.

You lead daily production, distribute work, monitor deliveries, and ensure the right things are done at the right time. You catch problems, handle deviations, and create clarity when conditions change.

Some days are about reprioritizing.

Other days are about helping the team move forward.

Often it’s about making people, materials, quality, and timelines meet reality.

You don’t need to have all the answers yourself, but you need to be the one who tackles the questions.

Your responsibilities will include

• Leading and distributing daily work in production
• Driving daily management and follow-up
• Ensuring deliveries are made according to plan
• Creating structure, order, and clarity in daily operations
• Following up on quality, performance, and results
• Handling deviations and solving problems together with the team
• Working with 5S and continuous improvements
• Contributing to a safe, efficient, and engaged work environment

To succeed in your role, you will have support from

• Production Manager - Your manager, your sounding board regarding direction, priorities, and development.

• Production Technician – Drives improvements, methods, and more efficient ways of working.
• Project Manager – Responsible for planning, timelines, and customer-facing project management.
• Quality Manager – Supports with deviations and quality issues.

Who we think you are

You are likely a person others already turn to when something needs to be solved.

You may have been a supervisor before.

Perhaps you have been a lead fitter, welder, CNC operator, team leader, or had a coordinating role in production.

The most important thing is that you have experience from a workshop or industry and that you enjoy leading people in daily operations.

• Have experience with 5S or improvement work

Practical information

The position is located at Larsson & Kjellberg in Oxelösund.

We have a collective agreement with IF Metall and offer a wellness allowance.

We apply a 6-month probationary period.

The position may include a security clearance.
