Upholsterer and assembly

Swedese Möbler is now looking for an upholsterer for our production of upholstered furniture in Äng, Nässjö. Swedese has manufactured high-quality design furniture since 1945, creating furniture that moves and adds function and beauty to people's everyday lives. In Äng, we handle cutting, sewing, and upholstery primarily for the professional market; you can often find our furniture where people gather and meet, such as in conference and meeting rooms or hotel lobbies.

Industrial upholstery of upholstered furniture involves building the furniture's content, padding, assembly, and fitting of covers. It may also involve re-upholstering previously manufactured products.

Experience

For you to thrive, we believe you enjoy working with your hands. We would like you to have prior experience with assembly and basic furniture upholstery or similar tasks. You are flexible and willing to switch between different work steps and tasks. You find it easy to collaborate with different people and can work independently with focus and good quality. You have a positive basic attitude towards work and colleagues.

Other qualifications: completed upper secondary education, preferably with a practical orientation such as upholsterer or construction, or equivalent experience. We would also like you to have a forklift license. You speak, read, and understand Swedish well.

The position is a probationary employment with the possibility of permanent employment or fixed-term employment.

Location: Äng, Nässjö

Working hours: daytime 06:45-16:00, Fridays 06:45-13:30
