Restaurant Teacher & Chef

Impius high school in Helsingborg is looking for a chef for our restaurant education program and our restaurant Spectrum Vin & Mat

Impius consists of various units (housing, school, daily activities) that work with children, adolescents, and young adults with neuropsychiatric disabilities such as autism and ADHD.

Much of the daily work involves training skills and abilities – something that often gets overlooked in regular schools. A diagnosis does not determine how you learn to handle stress or take responsibility. We practice this every day, in small steps, so that students gain tools for the future. A central part of Impius' philosophy is setting demands at the right level. Removing all demands does not make any student stronger. It is about building confidence through manageable challenges, and we see how students gradually grow when they realize they can achieve more than they thought.

Spectrum, the restaurant in central Helsingborg, partly functions as an educational restaurant for third-year students. Here, students are trained to become professionals.

You are expected to work both daytime and evenings/weekends.
