Stable and Farm Worker and Summer Staff - Gammelgård Equestrian

Jobbpunkten AB has been entrusted to be the main recruiter for several positions at Gammelgård Equestrian for the summer of 2026.

Gammelgård is an equestrian facility outside Vellinge with operations in riding, training, and farm management. It offers varied tasks in a nature-oriented environment together with horses and a dedicated team.

We are looking for people for several different roles during the summer of 2026, including:

• Stable and farm work
• Fence work
• Practical maintenance work
• Garden and grounds maintenance

The work varies from short-term summer projects to opportunities for continued part-time work after the summer.

Stable and farm work

The work includes, among other things:

• Mucking out
• Feeding
• Handling of roughage
• Letting horses in and out
• Upkeep of stable environment and surrounding areas

You work together with regular staff and participate in the daily operations on the farm. Riding may occur depending on experience but is not a main part of the position.

The work is practical and at times physically demanding. Therefore, we are looking for someone who:

• Is comfortable in a stable environment
• Has experience with horse handling
• Is responsible and thorough
• Can work independently
• Is flexible and has a good work ethic

Working hours during the summer are primarily in the mornings around 08:30–12:30, with longer shifts when needed.

For the right person, there are opportunities for continued work on weekends and weekdays throughout the year, suitable for e.g., students.

Fence work – summer project

During the summer, a larger project will be carried out where about 9 km of electric wire will be replaced on the farm's fences.

The work includes, among other things:

• Replacing posts
• Installing and adjusting fences
• Operating a mini loader with an earth auger
• Practical outdoor work in varying weather

We are looking for someone who:

• Is practically minded
• Has good physical fitness
• Can work independently
• Is thorough and responsible

You must be at least 18 years old for work involving mini loader operation. Experience with machinery is meritorious.

Limited public transport means that own transport is often an advantage.
