Substitute wanted for a woman in Skarpnäck

Do you like a job with very varied tasks and clarity as a guiding principle?

We are now looking for summer substitutes who can work during the entire period of June, July and August.

I am a woman in my 50s, living with my husband and cat. I have a CP injury with an additional neurological disease that means I need assistance with everything requiring motor skills, strength or coordination. My speech is affected, making it sometimes easier or harder to understand me, but it usually takes time and patience, and it will resolve itself relatively easily.

As my assistant, you will assist me in all aspects of my life.

I need assistance with:

• Dressing and undressing
• Eating and drinking
• Transfers performed while I am standing (lift is available for emergencies)
• All common household chores
• Help in the stable to put on my gear and get on the horse using a lift
• Fetching items I need within reach
• Accompanying me wherever I need to go, whether at work, in the stable, at home, or other activities

To thrive as my assistant, the following should fit you well:

• You have no need for control and are completely comfortable staying in the background until I need assistance, then returning to the background
• Understand confidentiality and privacy
• You are fearless and have both feet firmly on the ground
• Can accept constructive criticism
• You have no need to “take care of people”
• You speak and write Swedish fluently with a large vocabulary
• You do not smoke
• You do not use perfume or heavily scented products

About the position

You will be temporarily employed and work as a substitute, preferably as soon as possible, but you must be fully available during the summer period of June, July and August. If everything works well, you may remain as a substitute afterwards.

It is round-the-clock assistance with awake night shifts. The shifts are scheduled as 07:00-14:30, 14:30-22:00, 22:00-07:00. Only female applicants.
