We are looking for summer substitutes/hourly substitutes in Västervik - 0009

We are looking for personal assistants to work as summer substitutes and hourly substitutes for a man who has suffered a stroke. The summer substitute period runs from weeks 26-33. We would like you to be able to start immediately so that you can get trained before the regular staff go on vacation. There is a good chance to continue working as an hourly substitute after the summer.

You should be empathetic, pedagogical, patient, flexible, and have a positive outlook. Calm, confident, and reliable. IMPORTANT is that you are a mentally stable person, as this can periodically be a mentally demanding job. Experience with aphasia is a plus. Being responsive, focused, and attentive to the user's needs is a given.

Working hours are daytime and evening. (Not nights).

We place great emphasis on personal suitability, chemistry, and ability to cooperate. Since you will be working in the user's home, it is important that you have a professional approach.

Tasks include assistance in daily life such as help with communication, walks, some help with dressing and undressing, some cooking, transfers, leisure activities, and shopping etc. The user likes to go out every day. Ensure that everything in daily life runs smoothly; a large part of the job involves supervision and ensuring that the user can live as normal a life as possible.

Björkö Assistans AB is a assistance company with an office in Linköping. We are primarily active in Östergötland, but also have operations in Västervik.
