Childcare Worker for Les Mélodies – start in August

Les Mélodies is a small, French-Swedish preschool in central Stockholm (Östermalm, near Karlaplan) with 26 children, a dedicated team of six educators and a principal. We are an economic association and a parent cooperative, which means close collaboration between staff and parents with great commitment and participation in operations.

We offer a safe, creative and language-rich environment where children's curiosity and joy are at the center. We work in small groups with a high staff-to-child ratio and focus on each child's individual development.

Les Mélodies parent cooperative is now looking for a trained childcare worker with start in August 2026.

As a childcare worker with us, you work together with curious, committed and experienced colleagues. You actively contribute to creating a safe, inspiring and educational everyday life for the children, and share responsibility for operations and the pedagogical environment.

We are looking for someone who is present, flexible and positive, with a genuine commitment to child development and learning. You enjoy collaborating but can also work independently. You are well familiar with the preschool curriculum and can apply it in practice.

• Temporary employment for 1 year
• Work in a small and tightly-knit team

We are looking for someone who:

• Is engaged, responsible and positive
• Has experience in preschool work and a genuine interest in child development
• Thrives in a small context where you can help influence
• Fluent Swedish at native level, in speech and writing. This is a requirement without exception.
• French is strongly meriting
• Good familiarity with the preschool curriculum
• Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
