Haga Stable & Care has been commissioned to operate Nyköping Municipality's riding facility Nyäng starting from the autumn term of 2026. The riding facility will host riding school activities and other horse- and equestrian-related activities such as competition and training, education, leisure activities, social care work, and more. Haga Stable & Care currently runs Smedstad Equestrian Center in Linköping, offering a wide range of horse-related activities. At Smedstad Equestrian Center, riding school activities are conducted in close cooperation with the non-profit association Linköpings Fältrittklubb, with approximately 700 riders per week and 60 horses, as well as pony riding, HUI activities, riding camps, competitions, and more. Job Description

We are now looking for a riding instructor for the facility. A person who wants to help build up the operations at Nyäng Riding Facility from the ground up. As a riding instructor with us, you should have training for the task and high social competence. You should be solution-oriented, committed, and passionate about teaching students of all ages and with different levels of knowledge in equestrian skills and riding. You care about the horses' well-being and safe horse handling, and you actively participate in training and educating the riding school's horses.

As a riding instructor at Nyäng, you will be involved in developing the riding school activities and other horse-related operations at the riding facility from the start and must be able to work independently towards set goals. You enjoy interacting with many different people, can express yourself well verbally and in writing, and are passionate about achieving the goal of offering as many people as possible the opportunity to come into contact with horses and riding. We would like you to have experience working with riding school administrative systems and good computer skills. You are meticulous, work in a structured manner, and communicate and collaborate with the various stakeholders in the building to meet challenges and deadlines.

Previous experience in teaching riders with various types of disabilities is meritorious.

The position includes

• Horse and riding instruction for children, adolescents, and adults, as well as people with disabilities at various levels.
• Stable duties and horse care, as well as training of the riding school's horses.
• Customer contacts via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
• Participate in planning, development, and follow-up of riding school activities and other operations at the riding facility.
• Administration in Hippocrates Academy.
• Work integrated with other staff and operations within Haga Stable & Care AB.
• Collaborate with other stakeholders around the riding facility, such as contractors, schools, municipalities, and associations.
• As well as other common work tasks in the operations.

Qualifications

• Education and experience in working with horses.
• Swedish Riding Instructor at least SRL I or equivalent.
• Able to work in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Car driver's license (B).

Meritorious

• Hippologist.
• Education and experience in riding for the disabled.
• Coach training, teacher training, or other pedagogical education.
• Experience in administration in Hippocrates Academy or other riding school administrative systems.
• Experience with social media and website editing.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Information

Working hours will be scheduled during the day, evenings, and weekends according to the needs of the operations.

Employment rate 75-100% by agreement.

Collective agreement with Fastighets exists. Salary according to agreement.
