Woodworking Teacher, Grades 3-9

Oasen Christian School is an independent school based on Christian values. We currently have about 120 students from preschool class to grade 9, with after-school activities. Despite its small size, the school has great diversity and works with mixed-age groups. Here we want all students to feel safe, respected, and to develop.

We are looking for a qualified teacher in the subject of woodworking for grades 3-9 starting from the autumn term of 2026. You will be part of a teaching team and will be responsible for the subject of sloyd together with textile and sewing sloyd.

The position is 20%. It requires a working approach where flexible thinking is a natural part, good collaboration skills, and a willingness to build good relationships.

We place great emphasis on pedagogical leadership in the classroom. We are looking for someone who has the ability to motivate and create engagement while being a clear leader. You are secure in yourself, and through your way of leading and organizing, you create a safe and educational classroom environment.
