About Storken

Parent Cooperative Storken was started in 1989 and is located in the Dalen residential area in Hagfors. We have space for 17 children aged 1-6. We put children at the center and have two groups with high staff density. We have a fantastic outdoor environment with a large garden and proximity to forest, sledding hill, and large green areas that we like to use.

In a parent cooperative, a board is the principal. The board consists of guardians who are members of the cooperative. The principal, i.e. the board, has a legally regulated employer responsibility where they have ultimate responsibility for the staff and their work environment. A parent cooperative is run democratically, where all members help decide based on applicable laws and regulations.

Who we are looking for:

• We are looking for a licensed preschool teacher.
• We are looking for a positive and creative person, who is social and has a professional approach towards children, guardians, and colleagues.
• We are looking for someone accustomed to digital tools, who is initiative-taking and solution-focused.
• Experience with parent cooperatives is an asset.

About the position:

You are responsible for driving, monitoring, and developing the educational activities according to the preschool's governing documents together with the other educators and the principal. You will collaborate with colleagues and guardians to create a positive and inclusive environment where each child's needs and interests are taken into account.

Salary and benefits

The position is at 80% and will mostly be located within children's groups, with some planning time.

Pedagogical lunch is eaten together with the children.

The position is a permanent employment, probationary employment may be applied.

Fixed monthly salary, state salary expectations.
