Spicy Hot is an Asian fast-food chain that started in Västerås in 2001. Currently, there are 11 restaurants: three in Norrköping, three in Västerås, one in Karlstad, one in Uppsala, two in Eskilstuna, and one in Löddeköpinge. At Spicy Hot, we work with fresh ingredients that are prepared to order; a dish takes about 2 minutes to cook and is served directly when ready. The ordering and payment are done at the counter, and the guest then waits for the food to be served. We have about 30 different dishes on the menu, focusing on Thai and Chinese flavors. We do not serve alcohol, and all drinks are included in the price, except for takeaway.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for cheerful, service-oriented, and meticulous employees who enjoy working in a team and can handle a fast-paced work environment. We will hire employees who possess these qualities. Your experience in the profession is not as important, as we will train you on-site with our supervisors and workbooks in the dining area and kitchen.

You will work on preparing our dishes according to our recipe book. You will assist kitchen assistants in producing all preparatory ingredients, and you will work on kitchen routines such as hygiene control, ingredient handling, and other preparations in a small team of employees.

YOU must have worked as a cook and with Asian cuisine for at least 1 year.

If you speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, or Thai, it is an additional merit.

Start date:

Immediately or by agreement

Full-time/part-time with hourly wage, following the collective agreement's wage setting in the restaurant industry. Probationary period of 3 months.
