Kraftens hus Sjuhärad is looking for a business developer.
Kraftens hus Sjuhärad is a meeting place for those affected by cancer – for people of all ages who have been impacted in various ways by a cancer diagnosis: as a patient, relative, family member, friend, or bereaved. The meeting place has been operating since 2018 and is located at Träffpunkt Simonsland. It offers an open meeting place, lectures, and various activities that provide support, fellowship, and knowledge in a safe environment where everyone is welcome. We collaborate with various civil society actors and complement healthcare services. Kraftens hus aims to increase society's knowledge of the needs of those affected by cancer and how these can be met by acting as a partner in various ways within civil society.
Kraftens hus Sjuhärad is run as a non-profit association. The association's work is based on respect for the equal value of all people and is religiously and politically independent. Kraftens hus exists in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Gotland, Jämtland/Härjedalen, Kraftens hus Digitalt, and Kraftens hus Skaraborg, a new association that will start its operations this autumn.
We are looking for an engaged colleague who wants to help further develop and communicate Kraftens hus's operations. You will be part of the daily operations and work both close to the business and strategically. The role involves close contact with those affected by cancer, volunteers, and partners. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to improving support and quality of life for everyone affected by cancer while meeting and supporting people in their daily lives.
Your responsibilities include:
· Being on site, holding activities in the operations, and meeting people affected by cancer at different stages of life
· Actively participating in the planning and development of the operations. Being involved in the development area of creating external meeting places, pop-up operations around Sjuhärad, so that more people have access to support
· Leading conversation groups
· Collaborating with patient and relative associations, healthcare services, and other private and public actors to create networks, also with the aim of securing increased funding
· Working with social media and the website
· Participating in the work with and distributing information materials
· Communicating and spreading the Kraftens hus brand
Qualifications:
· Healthcare education at university or college level, or other equivalent education relevant to the work
· Experience working in cancer care
· Training or experience in leading conversation groups is an advantage
· Personal experience as a patient or relative is an advantage
· Good computer skills, interest in working with social media. Experience with websites, Canva, or similar programs is an advantage
· Good verbal and written communication skills in Swedish

· Good ability to interact with people in crisis and people with different backgrounds and needs, to make assessments and refer people in need of support and care in various ways
· Empathetic ability
· Creative and curious
· Driven and clear but with a great ability to collaborate, a "team player"
· Solution-oriented and structured
We offer a meaningful, varied, and interesting job with great opportunities to help develop the operations. You will participate in Kraftens hus's national network and collaborate with other Kraftens hus units primarily in Västra Götaland but also around Sweden.
The operations have their meeting place in Borås, but the assignment covers all of Sjuhärad. We work to ensure that support can be offered through external meeting places, pop-up operations, and activities in various municipalities, with the ambition of eventually establishing long-term meeting places in several locations in the region.

A B driver's license and access to your own car is a requirement.
Employment: Permanent employment, with a workload of 75% or as agreed. Working hours are mainly during the day, but some evenings and weekend work may occur for specific activities and events. The employment follows a collective agreement with occupational pension and wellness benefits.
