We are looking for a friendly & cheerful optician assistant!

We are looking for a positive and experienced optician assistant with an interest in technology, color and form!

The position is a permanent part-time employment of approx. 75-80%.

We are a privately owned and independent optician store in central Tranås, genuinely committed to offering our customers the best possible vision aids and service.

As a smaller optician store, we work close to our customers and take our time for the entire process, from eye examination to finished glasses.

In our own workshop, we edge and mount lenses in frames, and often perform impossible repairs that require a feel for craftsmanship.

If you have previously worked in an optician workshop and can edge and mount lenses in frames, we see it as a big plus!

We wish you to have a few years of industry experience and be accustomed to diverse retail work with a high sense of service.

We would like you to have completed an assistant training program in optics.

With us, you will have a varied job ranging from customer bookings, administrative record-keeping, performing centering/measurement of lenses, workshop work, etc.

An interest in fashion and trends is important, with a good sense of color and form to advise and inspire customers to make satisfying purchases.
