As a Teaching Assistant at Ingridskolan, your task is to help our students both socially and academically in their various subjects. You will work to make students feel happy and safe, but also to advance their schoolwork.

To help our students with their schoolwork in the upper secondary natural science programme, you need to have very good knowledge of the natural science subjects. Therefore, you must have completed a natural science programme in upper secondary school or have education in these subjects from a university or college.

You will work in a small team consisting of a responsible teacher and a teaching assistant. Together you will be responsible for a small group/class. The duties of a teaching assistant also include work in Ingridskolan's after-school care, which starts when the school day ends.

About the School

Ingridskolan is a small primary and upper secondary school primarily adapted for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) but is open to everyone. The school is located in Bergshamra, Solna.

The school works according to the TEACCH pedagogy, where each group/class has one teacher and one to two teaching assistants.

Ingridskolan is a workplace with good opportunities for pedagogical challenges and development aimed at creating good learning and leisure environments for children and adolescents with ASD. To make this possible, staff receive continuous supervision from a psychologist/educator and in-service training in ASD.
