DIRECTOR SOUGHT FOR RESIDENTIAL CARE FACILITY (PART-TIME WITH REMOTE OPTION)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are now looking for a dedicated, confident, and competent director for our residential care facility that caters to boys aged 15 to 18 with substance abuse issues. We offer a flexible part-time arrangement with great opportunities for remote work. You will have the freedom to plan your working hours and handle much of the administrative work from home, provided that the facility's and supervisory authority's requirements for management, oversight, and quality assurance are met.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• ​Bear the overall statutory responsibility for ensuring that the facility operates in accordance with applicable legislation (Social Services Act) and regulations.
• ​Ensure that the quality management system is followed and continuously developed.
• ​Be responsible for assessments upon admission, follow-up on implementation plans, and ensure professional contact with the placing social services.
• ​Be available as a support and offer qualified guidance to the facility's staff.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be approved for the role of director, you must meet the supervisory authority's strict requirements:

• ​You have a degree in social work or another equivalent academic education (e.g., behavioral scientist with adequate supplementary training).
• ​You have several years of well-documented professional experience working directly with children and young people, with specific and substantial experience in addiction care.
• ​You have very good and up-to-date knowledge of the Social Services Act (SoL).
• ​Previous experience working as a director in residential care or in another leadership role within social services/care is strongly meritorious.
