Senior Production Engineer / Project Manager

Virtual Manufacturing Sweden AB develops the production and internal logistics of the future within three business areas:

• Manufacturing Engineering Services
• Lean Manufacturing Equipment
• Manufacturing Software & Services

We work with everything from feasibility studies and concepts to implementation in production, from minor improvements to the construction of entire factories.

We are now looking for a senior production engineer with project management experience to join our Assembly & Production Flow team.

About the role

As a consultant with us, you will step into qualified assignments where you quickly take responsibility and drive the work forward, either at the customer’s site or from our office in Linköping.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their role and used to working independently in complex environments. You do not need an introduction to daily work, but are ready to take ownership of both tasks and delivery from the start.

Examples of responsibilities

Assignments vary, but you are expected to lead and be responsible for:

• Planning and execution of production engineering projects
• Preparation and creation of production documentation
• Method and time studies as well as flow balancing
• Improvement work and implementation of standardized working methods
• Layout work and changes in production
• Industrialization and start-up of new processes
• Supporting the organization during change management

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a solid background in production engineering and experience leading projects in the manufacturing industry.

You are used to taking responsibility, making decisions, and driving work forward, even in new environments.

We believe you have:

• Several years of experience in production engineering work in industry
• Experience leading projects or sub-projects
• Strong understanding of production flows, preparation, and industrialization
• Experience in improvement work and change management
• Good ability to work independently from day one in new assignments
