Contact person sought for 17-year-old girl

We are looking for a secure and committed contact person for a 17-year-old girl who came to Sweden from Ukraine a few years ago. The girl is in foster care and needs a stable adult contact who can offer support, motivation, and guidance in everyday life.

The assignment primarily focuses on supporting her with schooling, motivation, and social development, as she has high school absenteeism. It is important that you are relationship-building, patient, and able to motivate young people in a calm and respectful manner.

The girl speaks limited Swedish, so it is meritorious if you speak Russian or Ukrainian.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is secure, stable, and responsible

• Has a genuine commitment to young people

• Can work in a motivating and relationship-building way

• Has patience and good teamwork skills

• Preferably has experience with young people or social issues

• Meritorious with knowledge of Russian or Ukrainian

About the assignment:

• Approximately 5 hours per week

• Hourly wage plus holiday pay is provided

• Flexibility is important as meetings mainly take place after school and possibly on some weekends
