Social Worker for Consultant Assignment in Social Emergency Services June-August

We are seeking a social worker for a consultant assignment within social emergency services. The assignment involves exercising public authority in accordance with current legislation, focusing on urgent interventions and investigations.

The work includes case handling in several areas such as LVU (Care of Young Persons Act), LVM (Care of Substance Abusers Act), LSS (Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), intimate partner violence, social psychiatry, and protective measures. The role includes qualified investigative work according to the Social Services Act and LVU, assessment of children's, adolescents', and adults' needs, as well as preparing proposals for interventions in collaboration with the individual and the work team. Follow-up of granted interventions and documentation according to BBIC (Children's Needs in Focus) are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work
• Experience in public authority exercise within social services
• Good knowledge of the Social Services Act, LVU, LVM, and LSS
• Experience in investigative work
• Experience from social emergency services or reception unit is meritorious
• Good ability to work systematically and independently
• Good collaboration skills
• Ability to work under time pressure and make decisions
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing

About the assignment

• Scope 70 to 75 percent
• Assignment period June 1, 2026 to August 31, 2026 with possibility of extension or early termination
• On-site placement in Eksjö
• Working hours weekdays from 15:30 to 00:00 with standby 00:00 to 08:00
• Weekend work from Friday 15:00 to Sunday with active time and standby according to schedule
• Work is conducted together with a colleague with constant availability also during standby
• Standby means being able to report quickly if needed
• Vacation cannot be taken during the assignment
