About the role

Caroline is taking the next step within Gällivare Energy and moving into the role of operations manager. We are therefore now looking for a new operations technician who wants to become part of our shift-working team.

As an operations technician, you work together with 11 colleagues to ensure that our production facilities for heating and electricity operate safely and efficiently – around the clock. You monitor operations, follow up on deviations, and help us deliver stable energy to our customers.

Job responsibilities

• Control and monitoring of the facilities
• Inspection and patrol rounds
• Sampling
• Loading fuel with a loader
• Readings and ongoing reporting
• Registration and follow-up in maintenance system
• Basic corrective and preventive maintenance

Who we are looking for

You are meticulous and take responsibility, and you enjoy collaborating with others. You have a genuine interest in technology and energy and like finding solutions when something needs to be addressed. Work environment and safety are important to you – both for your own sake and for your colleagues'.

Requirements:

• Upper secondary education and/or relevant work experience (preferably in energy, process, mechanical, engineering, or operations and maintenance)
• Swedish in speech and writing
• Driver's license class B

Meritorious:

• Experience as an operations or maintenance technician in the energy industry
• Experience with maintenance systems (e.g. IDUS)
